Locate transformer

First of all, find the transformer that has to be located in the circuit. That is normally connected to the garage or utility room close to the doorbell chime

Off Power

Off the power supply and breaker that connected to the doorbell
If many breakers are connected and do not know which one is right off one by one each test 120 volts with a non-contact voltage tester to confirm which cable is accurate.
The power cable will be in yellow, white, or flexible metal.
In the tester, you see still power coming which means you do not get an accurate breaker.
Remove cover housing 120 wiring giving power to the bell
Check all wires in the box and off any extra breaker or main supply

Disconnect transformer

Disconnect 120 volts of wire from an old transformer with the use of a wire stripper close to the wire nut.
The snip sequence must be a hot wire, a neutral wire, and the last ground
Snip volts doorbell wires and not transformer terminals
Unscrew the transformer mounting screw or use pliers for removing the locknut holding it box
At last disconnect the transformer

Connect transformer

Connect line wires with a transformer in the box.
Firmly tighten the mounted screw for securing the box of the transformer

On low voltage wires connected with the doorbell remove insulation about 3/4 inches.
Connect the hook at the end of every wire
Connect one wire with two screw terminal, and wraps wires in a clockwise direction about the screw.
If you have 3 terminals then read the instructions for the doorbell to confirm which one has to use
no matter which wire is connected to which of two terminals

Transformer Wiring

Strip half inches of insulation from black, white, and green wires.
Splice ground with power, transformed an electrical box
If there is a metallic box but no wire exists for the ground, connect the ground pigtail by screwing the green grounding screw connected to the pigtail in metallic box screw terminals.
After splicing two neutral wires splice hot wires

Wiring Completed

Tug all wires connection to check they are strongly connected

Close electrical box housing 120volts transformer connections
