Hello readers welcome to the new post. Here we will learn R-448A N40 Refrigerant PT Chart. For finding the fault and repairing the AC unit and refrigerators and car air conditioners first of all temperature and pressure is checked. For finding the fault the value of these parameters is necessary with saturation point, superheat number, and subcool. Measuring the pressure and temperature of any AC unit is the main factor after physical inspection. So there is a need of a PT chart for further work. let get discuss R-448A N40 Refrigerant PT Chart.
Introduction to R-448A Solstice N40
- The new refrigerant R R-448A, Solstice N40, is an HFO refrigerant. it was made by Honeywell Corporation. The 448 is defined as HFO refrigerant since it has high HFC refrigerant. This refrigerant is an azeotropic mixture of R32, R125 R134A, R123, and R1234yf.
- N40 refrigerant was made as a replacement for HCFC R-22 and HFC R-404A. It is used for new installations and for retrofits.
- The refrigerant is used for low and medium-temperature uses like refrigerated cold stores and refrigerant transport vending machines.
- N40 refrigerant of Honey well comes with an A1 safety rating. That means the refrigerant is non-toxic and non-flammable.

What is the difference between 448A and 404A?
R448A comes with high cooling capacity than R404A since comes with hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) R32 [6,21,23] and offers low global warming potential (GWP) than R404A, which has hydrofluoroolefins (HFOs) by R1234yf and R1234ze (E) [24][25].
Is R448A compatible with R-404A?
What is a refrigerant PT chart?
What type of refrigerant is 448A?

What is 448A refrigerant used for?
How do I change my R448A?
For working with R448A it is good to note that it is blend refrigerant. blen refrigerant liquid must charge by eliminating liquid from the cylinder. Vapor does not charge the system from the 400 series refrigerant cylinder.
What oil does 448A use?
It is best to use for hypermarkets and supermarkets such as centralized pack systems, refrigerated cold stores, and chill and frozen and refrigerated transport.
