Hello, friends. I hope all of you are enjoying your life. In today’s tutorial, I am going to explain winding insulation in AC machines. The windings, either of the stator or rotor, of the alternating current machines are the most sensitive portion. If, due to some certain environmental or internal faults, the windings of the…

Hello, friends, I hope all of you are enjoying your life. In today’s tutorial, I am going to explain induced torque in AC machines. Every alternating current (AC) machine during steady-state working has 2 fields in the machine: the first one is the static part field, and the other is the field in the rotor.…

Hello, friends, I hope all of you are enjoying your life. In today’s tutorial, I am going to explain what a circuit breaker is. The first-time circuit breaker was invented by Tomas Edison (who was the inventor of the United States of America) in 1879. He used this circuit breaker in lighting circuitry to minimize…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at what a motor is and its practical implementation in industries. In 1740 a Scottish inventor, Scotland’s Andrew Gordon, and American scientist Benjamin Franklin invented the first electric motor that was electrostatic. The…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at what an electric generator is. There are numerous machines, like motors and transformers, operating in our power system. The motor is an electrical machine that converts electrical energy into mechanical power.…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at synchronous motor starting methods. The running speed of the synchronous motor is equal to the speed of the field rotating at the stator, which is called synchronous speed. This speed depends…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at what a synchronous condenser (capacitor) is and its importance in different electrical machines. In an electrical system, a synchronous condenser is a synchronous motor that gets excitation from a DC source.…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at synchronous motor power correction. A synchronous motor is such a machine that can operate at unity, lagging, and leading P.F., but an induction motor operates only on lagging P.F. The synchronous…

Hello friends, I hope all of you are having fun in your life. In today’s tutorial, we are going to have a look at the effect of field current changes on a synchronous motor. A synchronous motor is an electrical device in which, during operation, the revolution of the rotor is coherent with the rotation…

Hello, friends. Welcome to the new tutorial. In this post, we will discuss the BC559 General Purpose PNP Transistor. The transistor is an electronic component that has three main pinouts: base, emitter, and collector. It is created with a combination of N-type and P-type materials. It has two main types according to creation: the first…
