Adjacent channel interference
- Adjacent channel interference is a type of interference that is produced by the extra power through a signal in an adjacent channel.
- It is normally generated through improper filtering, improper tuning, and frequency control.
- Adjacent channel interference exists through a different channel.
- Through the use of accurate filter and channel configuration, the adjacent channel interference can be reduced
- This channel interference exists in radio channels when not required energy from the closers channel falls on the required bandwidth.

- CO channels interference exists between signals from co channels and adjacent channel interference exists between the signal from the channel have the same frequency to the desired signal
- Co-channel interference between the signals from the same source and adjacent interference between two different sources’ signals
- Co-channel exist one same source and adjacent channels on different sources
- Co channels are separated at some distance to reduce this interference and a proper filter is used for adjacent channel interference
