1990 S Proof Washington Quarter Value
Proof quarters come in 3 styles: matte proof, mirror-like proof, and reverse proof. In 1990, the S mint made mirror-like proof coins that come with a mirror-like field and frosted device. They made shiny through before they struck the bank is burnished by tumbling it in a vat full of 6mm stainless steel balls.

In this error, instead of pressing after striking, the coin flipped. In this error, the collar does not get broadstruck; in the result of flipping, some reverse details are printed on the obverse or reverse. AU58-grade coins sold for $1,400.
