Circuit Operation
- In the circuit, an AC input supply of 230 volts is given to the transformer that is stepped down center tap and provides the fifteen volts and two ampers. The output of the transformer is 12 volts which are given to the bridge circuit through diodes that convert ac to dc or operate the rectification process.
- This rectifier dc curent passes through the capacitor having values of 2200uf and 330nf that remove the ripples from the voltages and make pure dc free from noise. The pure dc then passes through regulator LM7811 that regulates voltage and provides 11 volts dc at the output which is our required volts.
- There is heatsink is used in the circuit that reduces the heat production in circuitry and saves the circuit from any damage
